Judo Gi
Purchasing a Judo Gi
For training at the Southern Cross University Judo Club, you will need a Judo uniform (Judo Gi).
During the trial period, you can borrow a Judo Gi from the club free of charge.
However, if you decide to continue training as an official member, you will need to purchase your own Judo Gi (excluding international students who plan to return home within a year).
The club does not sell Judo Gi.
Advice from the Club on Purchasing a Judo Gi
Color: Please purchase a Judo Gi in either white or blue.
For Training:
Recommended: Single weave or 1.5 weave.
Price Range: Approximately $70 to $150.
Beginners are recommended to buy this type of Judo Gi.
For Competitions:
Requirement: IJF-certified Judo Gi.
Price Range: Approximately $200 to $400.

Important Note:
Do not purchase uniforms for Karate or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as their specifications are different.
