Membership Fee
To participate in our Judo training, it is mandatory to become a member of SCU Judo Club.
Our club members must register with Judo NSW as a member of Southern Cross University Judo Club in addition to the club membership.
However, we make an exception for Southern Cross University students attending a campus other than Lismore and belonging to another Judo club.
The club membership is valid for 1 Uni Year (from March 1st to the end of February of the following year).
Judo NSW membership is valid for one year from the time of registration.
These must be paid separately.
By becoming a member of Judo NSW, you can participate in official Judo contests, as well as enrol in Judo Australia's Combined Liability Insurance.

* The cost is $190 per year, but you can receive a reimbursement of half that amount $95 from the university at a later date (for SCU students only).

** SCUJC is the official sports club of Southern Cross University , and its members are primarily university students. Therefore, there is a limit on joining as a Associate(General Public) member according to the university regulations, and we may refuse new membership applications.
If you wish to join as a Associate member, please contact SCUJC in advance.

Prior approval is necessary.
Students studying full-time at universities other than SCU, as well as full-time TAFE students, will be subject to the same fees as SCU students if approved by the club coach or committee.
Visitors are people who are not members of our club, but who belong to other Judo clubs who participate in training as guests.
SCUJC welcomes individuals who meet the following conditions as visitor:
1. Hold a black belt rank in Judo.
2. Possess advanced judo skills and knowledge deemed beneficial to SCUJC members, as determined by the club coach.
3. Currently be a member of a judo club at a university other than SCU.
Those who meet the requirements may participate in training as visitors after obtaining permission from the club in advance.
Grading Fee
SCUJC provides official grading based on Judo Australia standards.
Senior Yellow belt to Brown belt (5th kyu grade to 1st kyu grade) grading is available.
Grading is held three times a year.
The grading fee is $40, which includes the belt and official Judo Australia certificate.
External applicants will also be charged a one-day training fee.
